Refund & returns Policy
Freedom Scooters want customers to be 100% happy with their purchase. If the product you have purchased does not fit your needs or requirements, please inform us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item for a full refund on the price of the product. Please ensure that you read the full returns policy and terms and conditions of sale prior to purchasing.
Upon delivery of your new scooter, accessories or replacement parts please check for damage in transit before signing for the delivery. Open the packaging carefully to avoid damage to the packaging and item. Customers are required to keep all packaging, manuals and parts until such a time they decide to keep the item as items cannot be returned without the original packaging, manuals and parts.
Once your order has been received, you may cancel the order if it has not been dispatched. To inform us of your intent to cancel or return the order to us, you can contact us by via email, telephone or the ‘contact us’ page of the website. Customers then have a further 14 days for the goods to arrive back at our suppliers in Poland. Unless defective, goods must be returned at the customer’s own expense. A refund will be applied within 28 days and made via the same payment method used to place the order, if you pay by credit card the refund will be refunded to your credit card. After that period, and up to 28 days, customers will be issued a credit note for the value of the returned product. A copy of the original order must accompany the product so that we can identify the order and process the refund in a timely manner. Unfortunately, customised products can only be returned if they are faulty.
Custom ordered or sourced products are not eligible for a refund once order instructions are given.
Shipping and packaging costs for returns will remain the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be for the purchase price of the products only. In the case of a refused delivery a fee may be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of return shipping.
Returned goods which do not meet the above criteria will be considered as ‘In Dispute’. In Dispute products will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason will be given as to why the product is in dispute. We are happy to re-ship such items back at the customer’s cost otherwise they will be destroyed after 30 days.
Returns are not arranged by Freedom Scooters. If you wish to return an item with the courier who delivered the item, if this can be arranged while the driver is still in your area, a return charge of €100 will apply.
Condition of returned goods:
In order to return items, they must be in unopened, in the original packaging and be in an unused condition. Freedom Scooters returns policy is subject to the customer arranging for the return at their own cost.
This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.
